Review
Get Your Book Seen and Sold is an easy-to-follow, essential guide for any published author. Though much of the information is targeted toward those hoping to publish and market their first book, this quick read is jam packed with great tips for indie and trad published veteran authors alike. Wolk and Murkette have teamed up to combine their publishing expertise, providing a detailed methodology in simple terms along with several “workbook” sections to apply their tools for your own work.
I found this guide to be extremely user-friendly and perfect for the rookie author who is just starting out. As a published author, I appreciated the workbook areas and the precise definition of terms as they apply to marketing. All the info that you’re expected to know when you enter publishing is clearly laid out in an accessible and direct manner. After reading Get Your Book Seen and Sold, there’s no more guesswork. I feel like I can conquer the [publishing] world.
