2020 Wrap Up/Top 10 Reads
As 2020 comes to an end, it’s time to reflect back on a year filled with both milestones and disappointments. I’m so pleased with the progress of this blog, which was only possible due to the pandemic shut downs. As much as I wanted to be working, it was nice having the time to devote to reading, writing, blogging, and preparing for baby.
In January, I set my Goodreads goal to 75, knowing that I was hoping to get pregnant and would likely not be able to read as much as previous years. I met my goal in September, just days before baby’s arrival, and was able to read an additional 8 books since then.
In November, I participated in NaNoWriMo for the second year in a row. Once again, I was glad to have the time to devote to writing. However, my reading and blogging suffered. I hope in 2021 to find a balance between these three different, yet related, interests. Who knows? Maybe 2021 will be the year I publish my first novel.
Anyway, I’ve gotten off track. Here is a look at my year in review:
